The current version is Buddy Spy 2.2.18 Release Candidate 2. The problems fixed was the web messenger bug, if the user was online an error was given. Once a user is detected as being online the subsequent users in the list will also return online regardless of their true online status. This bug has now been fixed, I am testing it now and will be releasing 2.2.17 either later today or on the 16th of November. Please stay tuned, if you are experiencing other bugs, please let me know in the forums or here in the comments. And I am not talking about buddy spy isn’t getting the accurate status.

I will be constructing the download archives to house the old releases. I do not have all of them but I do have quite a few of the buddy spy builds available. On this page you will be given a link to download the executable, not the installer.

This means you will have to manually replace the BuddySpy.exe file in your install directory. This really isn’t that hard, and there are instructions avialable on the manual section of the main web site. I have been working on the next update of buddy spy, trying to solve some problems with the reporting function, and i am also attempting to free up more memory when the program is scanning.

These updates were mainly plugs for memory leaks. The program itself should run a lot smoother now.

I have heard reports that the avatar scan is not working for everyone and I will be looking into it. My initial scans however returned accurate results.
